All of that is absolutely true.
However, I think Don wanted a more active, enthusiastic bedroom life (sorry), and he got that. Everything he has ever done (for wife #1 and wife #2) was to secure that.. -

The honeymoon phase will eventually end. And then what?. -
.
Jen always says things like “when they express an opinion we can do [xyz]” which is pretty rich coming from someone who needs strangers selling things to give her permission to “craft”/feel/do things however she wants to . -
.
I think Tens is going to make sure the honeymoon period doesn’t end. . -
.
I think Don’s eyes were well and truly opened to how a man of his age and financial means can live, when he met Tens.
He was living and dressing like a 70 yo retiree, in an ugly retirement-like home when he was with Jen because that’s how Jen wanted to live. He is clearly a man who is happy to go along with whatever his spouse wants to do. Jen wanted to be around the Rosses all the time, decorate with owls and spend his money at Target. So, that’s what they did.
Tens wants to have a nice house, a social life, travel and a close knit family. So, that’s what he does now.
Jen was not the caged one. She set the agenda for their life, based on what she liked, and Don followed. His only stipulation was to have kids and she procrastinated on that as long as she could. And when she no longer could, and she had to be an adult and a parent, their marriage came tumbling down because she had to do less of what she wanted and more of what she needed to do, like look after her children.. -
.
Didn't D** once say he doesn't worry about things that happen?
I guess as long as he's got enough money to throw at any situation good or bad, he's OK with it.. -
.So, do we think Jen went to visit her family out east, like she used to on July4th? Go to that country club place that they dressed up and then later went to fireworks?
I thought that was a Ross family event?. -
.
Hamptons trip is the Rosses (the extended one)
The July 4 trip is Boyles side (which is why she never filmed it. We only got still shots dressed at a country club.). -
.
Jen really screwed up. Putting Don's meat in the garage. I think Don would be pretty easy to please, happy wife happy life is his motto. Want to stay in, sure. Want to go out, sure. She had a housecleaner, gardener, handyman, all she had to do was keep the kids alive and feed everybody and she couldn't do it. . -
.One thing I will say about Tens, she has a normal amount of teeth, not 584 like Jen.
And Tens has a sweet, genuine smile instead of the over-wide Joker style smile of our Jen. Tens has what appears to be a fun loving, friendly and outgoing, age appropriate personality and Jen's only personality - what little there is of one - is NPD, among her other aberrant deficits.. -
.Tens has a carefree tackiness that Jen is way too much in her own head to pull off.
Don looks like a kid who has spending money and the candy store is open, and Jen...well, Jen is getting the life she deserves.
D**’s life has changed dramatically in the past 2 years. I wonder how he’s actually handling it.
We knew him as someone who prioritized golf time, enjoyed relaxing and drinking adult beverages, and he loved TV time: Netflix, sports, movies, series. He was a guy who was was enthusiastic to retire and eliminate some of his responsibilities, was casual and carefree about his hair clothes, and I always got the feeling he didn’t want to invest a lot in home updates - I think Jen felt restricted in that area and would have done a lot more renovating and updating if Don would have agreed to them. He came across as someone who wanted a very relaxing, retirement like lifestyle.
In 2 years he’s exponentially increased his responsibilities:
From financially supporting one household to supporting two.
Went from 2 kids to 5 kids. Read that again. That is lot of time, energy, money, and complicated family dynamics.
Went from a simple day to day routine to having to coordinate schedules with 2 other families on a regular basis.
Purchased a massive estate that probably needs a lot of work along with basic upkeep.
Went from a relatively small manicured property, to vast land with the addition of a pool and garden to maintain. The driveway, the landscaping, the interior and exterior, all the rooms to furnish, all the plumbing to maintain, all the walls to paint, lightbulbs to change - makes my head spin.
Making that house a home for a family of 7. He took nothing from RM 1.0. He had to buy furniture, towels, kitchen supplies, and on and on.
He’s planned a wedding and reception - he had to offer at least some input.
The amount of money he has spent in the past 2-3 years must be astounding. And the time and energy he has left for himself at the end of the day must be minuscule.
Even with gardeners, pool boys, maids, nannies, decorators, and a helpful energetic wife - this new lifestyle has got to be an adjustment for D**.
His social life has also increased exponentially which requires time and energy on his part.
AND - his family sold his company, he made a significant career switch, and has to adjust to a new position that likely requires regular travel.
That is a lot for one person to go through in the course of just a few years.
It is a lot of change and new responsibilities but I bet Don loves every minute of it. He no doubt feels alive, engaged in life with new friends and activities and in love with his wife and all the kids. As far as work on the house and grounds, they hire people to take care of all that. Don probably feels like he died and went to heaven. Renewed is an understatement.. -
.
Tens has a great body. I wonder how much she works out (not 4hrs/day I’m sure) and what kinds of workouts she does. She obviously has also been taking care of her skin.
And I totally agree with everyone that says she has a sparkle in her eyes and looks like she is warm, confident, and FUN. Jen has never ever seemed like a fun person to be around.. -
.
She really does look great. I’d like to know her secret. . -
.
Y'all. I was cleaning out my closet yesterday and hidden away in a bin of t-shirts I wanted to keep I found...a flyaway cardigan. That thing somehow successfully stayed hidden through a whole bunch of periodic purging. I chuckled and immediately threw it in the donate bag.
(Meow, you made me think of this tidbit. 😀).
