Goodbye 2022 - Hello 2023!
well friends 2022 is coming to a close and boy has it been a week...year
the year started with Jen reflecting on 2021. "I honestly felt like I was burning all year. every time I would burn it felt like my whole world would burn and I would just be emotionally raw and just go through something so hard. I would come out of it. I would come out of it born again only to walk right into another fire"
she then showed us her word for this year....RISE
she ran the first few months of the year
and ran
and ran
and ran
the kids got covid while she was gone but...whatevz
she continued traveling this year and visited Wisconsin
and a tiny treehouse in Ohio
she went to Montana
and explored her own home
in March she posted her One Little Word 2020 and 2021 recap which included a lot of moments that her and the kids will want to look back on someday
but the BIGGEST news in March was the launch of her very own Patreon - the With Wonder Community! for $5 a month you can get access to all the content that people have been asking for for years. don't worry though...she has the best of intentions
she went to NYC, Wisconsin, showed us her travel gear, and even explored Chicago
over on Patreon...things weren't going so well
after posting a few videos about her nightstand and her closet...Jen claims the gossip sites are targeting certain community members and urges you to be safe!
Jen continued to show up on Patreon week after week giving updates, early looks at youtube videos, and a special video just for paying customers. no matter what she posted she always showed up giving her best
June rolled around and Charlotte graduated! that's very exciting, right?! Jen must have been on cloud nine! WRONG. it was a very upsetting and triggering day for her
"you lose people. and sometimes surprising people. I've actually lost some friends who I think are afraid....of divorce...and being touched by it. and that's not actually a reflection on me I've come to realize. but a reflection on their own insecurities in their marriages. and that's a really sad reality"
after a few years in her new home she finally got around to cleaning her garage this summer
on Patreon there were lives with her dear patrons, a pantry cleanout, and a what I ate in a day video. by far the MOST exciting news of the summer was when some poor suckers financing fell through and Jen got her very own adventure RIG. she fondly calls the rig BLUE
she set Blue up so she could drive to different areas of the country, sleep in the car, fly back home, fly back to the car, drive it somewhere new, sleep in the car, then fly back home again. over and over
Jen and Blue went to Oregon and Washington and spent several days seeing the Dave Matthews Band
during this trip out west Jen questioned the patriarchy when it comes to using the bathroom and wiping
right after this she went to Canada and climbed the same mountain over and over again and was rewarded with a red hat!
from there she visited Banff
and before you know it we were hurtling along at breakneck speed into the holiday season
she visited a tiny shed in Indiana, a treehouse that is a shape in New York, and then she visited NYC at Christmas time. the most exciting thing though was a 2nd cruise with the kids!
the excitement didn't last too long because after returning Jen finally tested positive for covid
....and that's where we are today
*I left the Winnie stuff out on purpose. too sad
