where are the BOOKS jen? at cc's age i was already bringing books on planes. my mom would never faff around with all this junk - although i did get a gameboy one year.

I think the main reason she picked up the camera to vlog is because she was feeling the blues. It had nothing to do with Winnie because we all know how little she cares/cared about Winnie. She was missing her old life and feeling super jealous of Tens who was probably planning an upcoming milestone birthday and being spoiled by Don.
She needed someone to talk to and we know she has no one in real life. Her eyes were all puffy from crying and the Winnie excuse was a good deflection.

I was thinking the same about book(s) for CC. The two kids are worlds apart developmentally from each other: treat them like the individuals they are FFS.

Her big toe is at least 45 degrees inward! I think she showed so much fear in her irritation in being "injured" by trying to not say it...it was a "leg situation" or whatever, but she was pissed, that was clear. No way she voluntarily does a surgery that will have her off her feet for weeks... she's legit fearful over the idea.

So she's not over "what happened with all that"... what exactly, Jen? You stated you contemplated divorce for YEARS. YOU are the one who filed. YOU are the one who said you were no longer romantically compatible. YOU walked a way with a paid-for house, the renovations you wanted, the kids financially secure, and an alimony that could let you live the life of riley without getting a REAL job. Yeah, lots of bad things happened there that would be hard to get over. Oh, and lets not forget the ME time you suddenly got for more than 50% of the month, granted by the man who decided he couldnt retire early and had to go back to work leaving you home with the kids when you were married. WOW...so much to grieve.

What she's not saying is she is grieving the fact that she did not win the divorce like she was supposed to...Don has a happy, fulfilled, new life and she has... an empty home she needs to escape every other weekend and no friends.

Without fail, each time Jen brags on something she does for/with the kids, she reveals what an absolute clueless, disconnected mother she is. She has no idea who her kids are and what they like.

The kids, most likely, do not act their true selves around her. To keep the peace, they say yes when she asks if they like a boring toy/age-inappropriate activity and Robo Jen pats herself on the back for another job well done.
