Goodbye 2023! Hello 2024
well friends...another year has come and gone and boy has it been quite a year
it's going to be a long one
before we can get into 2023 we have to wrap up 2022. in December 22 Jen let us know that her word for 2023 was going to be WILD
unfortunately 2022 ended on a low note for Jen. she tested positive for covid
of course her main concern was to keep those around her healthy so she stayed home for 10 days per the CDC guidelines at the time
lol just kidding she flew to Disney for her first Run Disney event of the year!! woo!!!
she ran
and ran
and ran
and ran
she couldn't leave without also exposing Minnie to germs
later in the month Jen took the kids to Disney for their birthday trip
and the following week Jen turned 40!! she went on a super top secret trip (Disney cruise) that she isn't sharing. while she didn't let us know what she did (coughDisneycruise) she did tell us that she "felt very celebrated." she also ate cheese.
February brought us some dance moves:
as well as a deeply disgruntled follower contacting Jen. this crazy person had Jen questioning "who is Jasper?"
and then Jen was right back to Disney for more running:
in March a new single dropped!!!! it's by CC and Donny and called "whatever mommy wants, mommy gets"  Donny sang the tune for us:

Jen posted this on her IG story but deleted it shortly after. not before someone at the bakery saved it though
Crowned Athletics played a HUGE role in Jen's life this year. she spent approximately eleventy gazillion dollars on their clothes. she was always eager to model it for us
in April Jen traveled to...you guessed it...back to Orlando for more Run Disney
once again she ran a bunch. and you can't leave Disney without enjoying a solo day at the park
after all of that running Jen was back on the road!
she traveled in Blue from Florida where she hung her pee rag on a grill
and across the southern U.S where she tried hipcamping and a pig came over to sniff her before walking off
she also spent time visiting Louisiana and Texas with her good friend Blue
May was an eventful and sad month. Jen let us know what God spoke to her about Winnie and told her it was time 
but before we can get to that we need to wrap up (hopefully?) the year long Starbucks debacle. someone paid for her drink at Starbucks and she thought it was SO nice!! she did not deserve the FLACK she got last year!! F you!!
anyway Winnie was finally released from her earthly burdens after "shifting" for quite some time. but don't worry...she was restored to perfect health and reunited with cousin Yoda ❤️
according to Jen in "late May" she was back on the road. but this was actually mid-May and immediately after Winnie's passing. she was reunited with her dear friend Blue and ready for new adventures
she traveled to Texas, New Mexico, and Colorado. while in Colorado at the Great Sand Dunes National Park...something amazing happened! Jen saved a life! some lady got lost off the trail and just bushwhacked her way to the top of the mountain and got herself stuck. while hiking Jen heard a call for help and was able to get her rescued
she wants you to know that she is doing totally fine though. no not the lady. JEN is doing just fine after making a phone call so that the lady could be rescued off the mountain after sleeping there overnight
in July Jen was spotted in the wild!
July also brought us Jen's youtube anniversary where she looked back on her early videos
lots had changed since then
Jen took a trip to Sun Valley Idaho and something really horrible, awful and just plain TERRIBLE happened! a foreigner asked her "are you going through something?" after Jen said she was traveling alone and had just planned a last minute trip there. she was NOT happy and had a message for him:
the theme of this video is...you do you boo. if anyone has an opinion about that that's not so nice...that's 100% about them and their own insecurities and it has absolutely nothing to do with me. and they might argue otherwise and it's just all the more like...take a look in the mirror bro. you know...just take a look in the mirror
Jessie Hearn continued to do her thing this year
over on Patreon Jen continued to show up for weekly updates, exclusive videos, and monthly lives. every month she would also calculate how much of her income she was donating to charity
Jen got to meet one of her heroes this summer!
she also got another red hat
when she didn't have an active momming stint she spent a lot of time in Blue
in September Jen revisited the topic of making friends
she let us know that she doesn't have friends and she does NOT want your advice on how to make them. she didn't ask your advice on how to live. she's just explaining her journey. she talked about how she was depressed in 2021 when she stepped away from YT and concluded that many people aren't friends with her because they are afraid they'll catch divorce and she thinks that says a lot about your relationship. oh and she has her own relationship with God and she doesn't need you telling her to find Jesus. she did a lot of reflecting in the video. "are you going to be a hermit isolated loner for your entire life? I honestly don't know"
November brought another trip to Disney for more running
she always does a lot of shopping on these trips
can't leave without another solo day at the park!
November also means it's time for some delicious turkey!
Thanksgiving rolled around and Jen had the kids this year. that's really exciting, right?! unfortunately no. Jen had many feelings about Thanksgiving this year
right after Thanksgiving Jen uploaded a vlog where she shared all sorts of feelings about the day. she even took us down memory lane
she let us know that after spending $600 at Whole Foods and hosting her immediate family...she was very stressed. she let us know that she didn't want to be in charge of everything anymore. making all the food, making everyone comfortable, parenting ALONE. there was not one moment of joy. people drink, they say things, nieces party, it's a lot. she concluded that she set these hosting expectations by hosting the holiday for many years - now some people just expect that of her
it was so stressful that she was just done and may be leaving this holiday behind in the future.
in her very next Monday update video Jen once again spoke of the fraught filled holiday. she let us know that she felt an enormous sense of relief when her family left and she could not ignore those feelings.
with this dreaded holiday behind us at least we can make the house cozy, right? time to decorate!

after this we went back in time - Jen shared her October trip to Mt. Baker
December 7th is a day that will live on in history. no I'm not talking about the attack on Pearl Harbor. on December 7th Jen posted a video of herself in a thong to IG stories
back on youtube Jen shared her trip to the metropolis of Portland, Oregon. she has lived in a metropolis before and visited many metropolises but on her visit to this metropolis she was really hit in the face with the homelessness. she went on a bike tour, bought some stickers, ate some donuts, and avoided the homeless. overall she enjoyed this metropolis
as we got closer to Christmas something really terrible happened. Jen's number was finally called in the chaos lottery. it's ok though. she will pivot. things had to be cancelled. she will accommodate her kids. we are going to have firm boundaries in 2024 says Jen. she also lets us know that you can still be a good and kind person and tell someone to F off. she will focus on making magic during this stressful time
on Christmas Day Jen uploaded another weekly update. she was very very stressed. she had to pivot. everything is topsy turvy right now but she's trying to steer the ship through it. something was thrust upon her and there will be changes moving forward. she will be stepping back from youtube because she won't be traveling. this stress has forced her hand and she had to cancel her runDisney events. she'll be home with the kids this winter and her parenting time will increase quite dramatically. she's juggling a lot right now but don't worry about Blue. Blue is tucked away safely and she knows she will receive questions about that. she is hoping to return to the road some day but she's extremely stressed right now about things that are not in her control
anddddd we've ended the year with more Disney - this time another Disney cruise. we also learned that her word for 2024 is MAGIC

2023 was also the year Jen didn't get a tattoo, but pretended like she did via weird Instagram reposts and she did not ride a motorcycle, even though she bought a pleather jacket and everything.
