these are the posts that I first saw when I found the bakery. I would literally look at them when I needed a good laugh. she was/is a disconnected parent. I knew the bakery was full of my people, the humor here is perfection
connection should have been her word of the year. Try connecting to actual in person humans, like your kids, not your camera and strangers who pay to see your videos and pics of your children.. -
.I have never figured out how to post gifs, so I’m hoping one of my brethren bakers will help me out, but my favorite/cringeworthy one of all time is her nighttime skin care routine where she wipes something on her face while looking in the mirror, then looks at the camera, and does the slow mo grinch grin.
I’d love to see what gets cut if this is stuff she thinks is okay to put on the internet.

I just got an email notification about the Northbrook outage, and there's currently no ETA for repairs. Last time we had an extended outage, Mr. Lurker and I went to a nearby hotel. Driving isn't great, but lack of heat is worse. When our power was flickering earlier today, I rushed downstairs to make coffee and plug my devices into chargers. Ours fortunately stayed on; there's a power line down in Northbrook.
There is an online Com Ed status she could use on her cellphone.

She might be in a north shore neighborhood but all of those hoods still have powerlines that are above ground and can freeze and yeah, good luck jin, why not pack the kids up and come to a cozy burb with hotels with power. -
