I’m not a Swiftie but my Circumstances are huge fans. My cager and I had every single person we knew enter the lottery for concert tickets and we got ‘em at face value so this December, we’ll be in Vancouver for a show. We gifted them the tickets for Christmas & they were shocked, excited, screaming…all of it. Do the cager and I want to go see Taylor Swift? Heyullll no! There are a million more things we’d rather do in Vancouver than that. But as parents, that’s what we’re doing because it makes the Junior Gene-is-Sis’s happy. See, it’s not all about ME ME ME around here (I know that’s such a foreign concept for you, Jen).
Also, even though I may not particularly care to go to the show, I know Jen definitely would so let me take this opportunity to say suck it, asshole! While you’re doing it for the big girls, I’m doing it for the 99% with this one.

I'm guessing Taylor Swift appeals to Jen because a lot of her music is about feelings and relationships and situations with other people - which is why she is so popular with teens/20s because it's all soooo relatable, etc. Jen can listen along and keep adding to her pile of reasons why everything is Don's/the Rosses fault, especially why her life sucks since the divorce. I guess it's a bit Untamed in music form.
