Shay the desperate fame whore wannabe is almost laughable if it wasn't so cray cray! Like anyone besides Shay is impressed with a wealthy hotel owner who happens to be at his hotel working, but Shay now thinks he is a "friend". She is psychologically stunted age 12-13 and she just saw her celeb crush that she has posters of on her teen bedroom wall. Stalker alert!

She’s so desperate to paint every instance as the best ever- even the ones (like this) that are terrible ideas. I mean, it looked like a fun spring Saturday activity for someone local but to fly your family of six across the country with a puppy? She is certifiable.

I wonder if the teens realize how abnormal all this is or if they don’t question because Tandrew rules with an iron fist, Shay just ignores them or they know no different?

Her teens have to be miserable. Shes 6 months from having a driver… and I can tell you how things change with that new found freedom. Why waste so much time and money flying across country… to try to impress a bunch of strangers on the gram? The joke is on her.

Women are commenting on Shay’s social media that this little Daffodil Parade is on their bucket list. Am I missing something? I understand Elin Hilderbrand wrote about it in one of her fictional beach reads, but it’s exactly that…fictional! It’s just crazy to me how authors and movie producers can obviously exaggerate events like this parade, or sports teams like the Boston Red Sox and women like Shay lap it up completely! They must be so unhappy in their suburban lives to where they can’t separate fact from fiction. The Shull kids are paying the price for Shay’s warped, romanticized reality.

Daffodils are my absolute favorite flower. Have been since I was a teen. I would never ever fly to a daffodil parade. Not ever. Shay is crazy!

But yet Shay MM Travel expert who was just at WDW never said a peep about the International Flower and Garden Festival that runs until May 27 as she walked around Epcot. I guess "her island family" is really the draw.
Just for fun when I was walking dogs with my neighbors who are older and heading back soon for the summer to there home on Cape Cod (owned decades). They are super active, boat and are fun. I asked them if ever been to the Daffodil Festival or heard much about it? There answer was not much worth going for, nothing of real interest but floral arrangements. I laughed and found that really funny!!! Wind chill today ACK 45 degrees.

It’s a stupid purchase, but a cape house would have been better for her with 4 kids than an Ack house. But not like she thinks of her kids

What’s wrong with these women? Like seriously, we’ve debated ad nauseam why Shay is this way but I am forever completely perplexed by her fangirls. The only thing I can think is she paints a picture of a simple life with unlimited money where everything is easy and fun, and nothing bad ever happens. Schlepping six people and a puppy across the country for a long weekend is a grand adventure. She can buy whatever she wants, cost be damned. At a time, when the rest of us are facing middle aged, a slowing metabolism and higher number on the scale, she’s wearing mid drift baring tops. She makes it look so easy. Life isn’t easy, in fact, the world has been especially scary this last decade. That is the only answer I have at this point.

But if you apply any critical thinking skills at all, this easy life shes peddling is sheer insanity. Do they truly not see that or are they pretending just as hard as Shay is because it is fantasy.

I think Shay has tapped into something that really resonates with people who don't think too deeply. She sells a life that is simultaneously perfect and easy with seemingly endless money to burn. She claims they are happy all the time and always laughing and having so much fun - even as most people with teens and tweens know surly and uncooperative and just annoying kids can be. She shows these trips that have to be SO TEDIOUS with the hours and hours of airline travel...yet claims they are always the "best ever." She adopted not one but two kids from China - and made it look like barely a blip on her radar. Life soldiered on in the same easy way.

Anyone who thinks beyond the surface knows how ridiculous this all is, but I think a lot of her fans WANT this fake life to be attainable so they don't look past what she presents.

Her writing and typos are especially bad today.

And she called Minneapolis, a major US city, "his adorable Minnesota town". It is so clear she only skims these books.

That type of sentence is what what happens when you copy and paste other reviews then make minor edits and claim you read and reviewed the book, but forget to go back and fine tune it after deleting a few words.

Yes, that’s exactly what she did. Fraudulent Shady being her true self, a fraud.
