I don’t know if this picture does it Justice, but this is all the crap she threw into the ground beef for “taco meat”. That salt heap is about two full tablespoons of salt! And that is on top of 3 heaping Tb. of taco seasoning, and gobs of paprika, cumin, corriander, and pepper! Her mouth is dead inside. Attached Image

Clearly I don’t have enough to do, so I went back to her 10 days post birth story. She had room in that shirt. I even looked at her in that shirt before the baby was born and it fit better than it does now.

That's how she justified adding bacon fat to the ground beef pan. She buys her beef from local farmers so it has very little fat! But all farmers are local to someone!

Isn't the fat added back to ground meat? Like they grind the meat then add 7%or 10% or 20% of fat?
I buy 97% lean and it don't come from a local farmer

Cringe. cringe indeed, but also really sad that in 3 years she has changed so much is 3 years. and definitely not for the better! YouTube has consumed her and given her an ego she has no business carrying around.

After watching the video, I read through two of the recipes Becky used as the basis of her “kindness” (double-edged sword, if ever there was one) in stocking up her sisters freezer with ready meals to help following the arrival of her third baby. These were the recipes which included cream cheese.
For starters she got the quantities of cream cheese wrong in both recipes. Secondly, both recipes state quite clearly that you add the cream cheese towards the end of the cooking time. Neither recipe says you can part-prepare and store in the freezer prior to cooking. There’s no food safety risk in freezing cream cheese but it can become grainy when it’s defrosted and cooked. It looks as if it’s split. It doesn’t make any difference to the taste, but it can alter the texture of the final dish. If Becky had only thought about it properly! She should have left out the cream cheese from the other ingredients, and included the required amount of cream cheese as an add-in when her sister came to prepare those meals. In the same way that she was giving her sister jars of broth - oh, so generous - to add as required. At least Becky had the wit not to throw the fresh spinach into the bagged-up Tuscan chicken dish!
Such an idiot to try the Tuscan chicken for the first time as part of a freezer run. Anybody else would cook it from scratch in a trial run, just make sure they actually liked the end result. In any event, I honestly don’t think it’s the sort of dish that lends itself to being cooked in the way Becky was doing it (I don’t have a slow cooker so would do it “stove top” - in fact, I do cook something very similar but use a little white wine and cream or crème fraiche for the sauce - it’s delicious and easy! Either shrimp (prawns in 🇬🇧!) with linguine or chicken with rice*.
I hope the meal train for her sister from other members of the family and friends is a good selection of oven-ready meals that require no more thought than turning the oven on. I’d not bank on Becky’s offerings being a success.
* I don’t know why but I really dislike chicken and pasta. Bizarre!
