I thought Jen would visit her grandma when they (Don, Jen, and Teets) went to California.
Instead Jen forced them to go to Disney to ride another carousel horse.
Wonder if she thought they go backwards in another state?. -

.Not sure of a good time to post My Divorce Theory so here 'tis:
Don was the one thinking of divorcing for years. He wanted kids. Gene finally gave in and had Charlotte which helped fuel her resentment against the child. Don still wanted a divorce after Charlotte and seeing Gene's parenting skills. Gene got pregnant again quickly because she thought that would force Don to stay with her, hence one reason for her to favor DKRIV. Didn't work for long.
The End
This does make sense. DonDonDaddySteak must have been itching to get out of there for some time to recover and remarry so fast. And Jen was/is the distraught one.

.I do believe I saw them. You go up the stadium to get food etc and you see everyone above you each trip.

Up the stadium? What does that even mean?
When I’ve gone to sporting events, my seat and what section I’m in dictates what I can see and how good my vantage point is relative to the game.
You traveling with the Cardinals & seeing everyone every time you go to a concession stand provides no context & you aren’t even using the right lingo.
When you are in your seat at the stadium, you have to climb up the steps to go to the restroom or snack bar. If you have seats on the first row, you have to climb up many rows to get to the exit. You do pass/view a lot of people. She is not talking about a vantage point from "viewing" the game.

R.I.P. Grandma Betty. I'll add to the chorus of why did Jen and the kids not visit? Everyday is an absolute bonus with someone in their 90s. They seemed to have a loving relationship in the video. Why the hell would you not go get a multi-generational photo for CC and D to look back on? Even if they were babies. It's a terrible opportunity to sqander that most don't get. Betty seemed lovely. My grandma was 94 and could touch her toes and drive almost to the end. She was very proud of getting her licence renewed at 90. I miss her very much.

I agree about how precious a multi-generational photo would have been. While my grandparents passed away before my kids were born, we have a photo of 4 generations with them and my nephews, and it is a family treasure to have.
