It doesn’t look like Jen comes anywhere near to the law applying to her. CC and Donny have almost no live footage - usually just a few still photos here and there. Nothing near a third of the tedium we are forced to watch. Jasper gets more screen time.
She’s in her 20s in those photos so I’ll give her some room for the inevitable toll of hormones and gravity, but how on earth did her skin tone move from golden to gray?
I was thinking it’s not a totally unreasonable scenario that Jen could be making small talk at one of the 29029 events in the gondola or at dinner and it comes up she’s divorced with shared custody. The event itself is decent screening - attendees are dedicated and athletic, and rich enough to enter so I can see someone saying, “oh, I should put you in touch with my brother/cousin/friend who’s also really into to travel and hiking.” Her avoidance of things like showers and decent attire wouldn’t be readily apparent given the nature of the event.
However, a single google search would lead to the YT channel, if not the Bakery, and any normal dude would nope on out.

It’s difficult! I go back and forth in my opinion on this.
I think she’s never going to find anyone because she’s not going to get to, or make it past the introduction phase.
She has no friends or colleagues and a very small family. So no intros there. The very few social opportunities she has where someone might make an intro, she either keeps to herself or would be eliminated immediately by an elementary google search. Online dating at 40 has broken much stronger people than Jen, so I don’t see that happening either.
BUT, if by some crack in the universe, she makes it into the dating phase, I can actually see her finding someone. Even Don with his fawning generosity wasn’t enough and she sure as sht isn’t going to find that again, but I could almost see her with someone as selfish as she is - like they just do their own thing and get together when it’s mutually beneficial. Or, some guy who sees her as a safe financial place to land, and puts up with her demands just enough to keep his feet under her table.
where are the BOOKS jen? at cc's age i was already bringing books on planes. my mom would never faff around with all this junk - although i did get a gameboy one year.

So true!!! The lack of books for the kids is really tragic. And I can’t remember her ever mentioning story time - it’s always movie time. Do they ever snuggle in Jen’s bed while she reads aloud to them? I have so many happy memories of reading aloud to my kids. Of course this is all in keeping with Jen’s own lack of interest in books. One of her resolutions was to read a book a month - and even though it was only of the self-help type of book, that would have been something. But I’m not sure she has read 8 books yet this year.
To her credit she has said many times that she reads them stories at bedtime, and it’s also probably not a time when she’d take out her camera (versus movie time). Does it being her joy? Probably not, but it’s something roboJen feels she needs to do and I’m betting one of the few “close” moments she had with Jill growing up.

I thought that was sad/interesting too. That Jen was going to beg her PT to let her bring the kids, which I assume means there’s no one to watch them for an hour or so.
What’s the deal with Jill and Gravy? They definitely don’t seem like the type of grandparents who are begging to take the kids for days, but not even for a couple of hours for a medical appointment? I had begun to think their absence was due to one of them being immuno-compromised, but then Jen said they were vacationing in Japan for a whole month so that can’t be it. Weird.
Apparently, some time after the Karina incident, Jaclyn emailed Jen to cut ties and demanded a $250k payout even though she always worked on a commission basis. Jen said no, but did remove all references to Jaclyn from her website.
When Jen did not pay the $250k, Jaclyn made a Snapchat saying she cut ties with Jen because no amount of money would allow Jaclyn to compromise her morals and she had been praying about it and couldn’t sleep at night.

I had to look it up as well. There was a gossip channel called Karina Kaboom. Jen was shown on Snapchat calling her “ugly.” This was before the much bigger scandals to come in the beauty community so it was a pretty big deal at the time for a brand owner to be calling someone ugly.
Wow, I volunteer at my local voting poll, I get paid $160 per election. It is hours of training, every time (state law) then 6am to hopefully 8pm and it is usually once or twice a year. No high 5s, but we have a name button and then a pin which has dangles for every election you work.
I get a lot more out of it than doing an Everesting event. I imagine many volunteers are partners, spouses, and or friends of those doing the challenge. No room? How rude. A bib, a hat, and maybe a discount to the store, guess what caught Chinny’s attention? The discount, of course. Um, unless the bakers want to do it as a Kitchen Building experience, not for me.

Just watched the beginning of the video. This 29029 thing seems like a douchey cult. The coaches stood up there saying weird motivational stuff. Why is anyone doing this? And it's not even anywhere close to Everest - lack of oxygen anyone? Hyperthermia? Neither of those things are part of this. What a weird way to spend time.
