There’s been a little too much, “Awww, I feel bad for Jen, she’s so depressed, poor thing” & low key Tens disdain going on here lately. Everyone’s entitled to their own opinion, but, ew. Don’t you all forget that Jen is the cause of her own misery, she can change things if she wants to but she chooses not to. She’s done a lot of super shitty things throughout the years, and continues to do so. She gets no sympathy from me. Ever.
Only reason she’s not on Instagram & disabled comments on her last post is because she knows people will ask about the celebration. As I mentioned previously, she knows peeps on Instagram are more likely to inquire and even if she blocks them, there are ways to get around still looking at her Instagram so people can be brave and comment whatever they like at the risk of being blocked.
She runs away & hides at the first sign of any inconvenience, big or small. She portrays herself as strong & independent when she’s really a coward & weak. I’ve lost hope that she’ll ever get her shit together. She thrives living in misery so she can live in perpetual sympathy and get head pats.
Also, way to ask people to throw more money at you on Patreon. She’ll let her channel and the rest of her social media go to garbage and she’ll withhold anywhere free so that idiots (minus the true bakery spies) will give her $5 to watch her throw away an old lozenge and stuff more crap into ugly bins. Couldn’t be me.

Adding to this is how you can tell Jen acts superior to others she sees “lesser than,” like her fans, planner ladies (I remember a fellow Baker spotting her at a Chicago planner event and saying Jen cozied with Erin Condren marketing people, ignored everyone else, smugly referred to some silver gift item saying “I prefer saying platinum” and ditching the event after 20mins), even that whole Starbucks “act of kindness” BS that backfired last month. But when she’s confronted with someone like Tens who’s confident on who she is, she hides and sulks. I find it hilarious because it shines how pathetic she is at almost 40.
BTW all this talk about lurkers vs posters, I’ve been MIA with grad school and working on a project with a tight deadline but I loved reading and seeing the wedding recap this weekend. Mazel tov to D&T
I have a soft spot for Gideon's because they started out as a tiny little shop within a larger (super cute) food hall market in Orlando not that long ago. They are truly local and a huge success. I like their stuff fine, but it's not life changing and I'd never stand in a huge line for it. I'm a home baker and not to toot my own horn, but most things I buy aren't better than what I make so I don't really bother often.
I am happy for Jen to stay in her tourist bubble and never venture into the towns we locals live in. I don't need her stank and smug infiltrating my daily life.

Since the forum’s moving at light speed today, gonna dump my thoughts here.
I think someone did a wellness check after that IG sob story of the van life girl back in spring, since Jen kept mentioning something happened and the timeline matched up. But the empty threats about suing the forum over public info is as empty and shallow as herself.
Mistake number 1 on social media is NOT letting your audience know ahead of time the rebranding or shift in content. Her going on and on about how she “didn’t wanna bring attention” to the rebrand is because it was a huge fail from the get-go, as y’all pointed it out. She STILL doesn’t have the With Wonder website up and it’s been 6 months.
Also, she might as well namedropped the Bakery because she was trying to be indirect about it but kept bringing up stuff that’s been discussed here (also hi Jen ).
I DID laugh in my room when she was mid-scolding about lack of privacy during travels and how people would prank call their hotel rooms cuz I’m imagining the infamous Disney pwincess stay a la Tosh.0 and getting blocked by prank calls

I was wondering the same thing, because it’s not like she does intense cinematography/color grading/motion graphics compared to filmmaker YouTube circles.
On one hand, I don’t wanna knock her down on her mental health situation…but the immediate sob story of her being ~*so overwhelmed you guys*~ by the YouTube schedule she created in the first place—where most of her videos are drag-and-drop footage and lower thirds text for makeup prices—makes her look ridiculous (at least in my eyes).
