A few notes while watching the Organized HQ video :

We're very excited to see Jin the world traveler. Oh, you mean Jen. Here I was getting ready to read English subtitles to some Korean popstar. So far, Jen traveled the US and Italy. All over the world. Not to be snobbish, but with that many plane travels she's done, she could have stank up a bit more countries. I guess the Italians spoiled her plans.

She enjoys packing and packing videos have been a constant.

    She hasn't made much recently.

She's being paid for this, right?

How has she not checked the model/color/availability beforehand? It's rethorical, of course she didn't, but still.

The editing is horrible. especially the footage of rolling her suitcase all cramped on the side of the screen. It's also very grey, getting lost in the sea of grey of Jen, her blue-gray luggage and her grey mausauleum.

For a weekend, she puts her crap in the hotel drawers. Again, rethorical, but gosh, Jen, why do you stuff your crap everywhere? Territorial much?

No re-wearing of socks for day and night. But they are all the same, and you know there probably wasn't any shower in-between, so why bother?

Puts her hat right on the floor, next to her shoes. Because of course.

Rainjacket lives in her car in a pouch. Folded up.

Ziploc bag o' snacks! Ah, this is so vintage Jen. I kinda feel nostalgic. It's very small though, compared to the days of yore. Maybe she shared with Don? Ok, I'll stop with the jokes.

The bag goes on the plane with her. It's a clamshell luggage. Yet, she says she normally puts the bag of liquids into her backpack, goes through security, than props her suitcase open and shoves it into it instead of putting it back in the backpack so she doesn't have to carry it. WTF? Is someone rolling your suitcase? Is a quart-size ziploc bag too heavy now? Mind you, it's just the overcomplication of the thing that bugs me here. In my days, you only opened your suitcase if you needed to remove weight and once you were at your location. I'll never understand how she likes to spread out her stuff in public places.

Of course, multiple combs. I have a truckload of long hair and I still just pack a comb. under the shower, I use my fingers like a barbarian. Works for me.

Just realized this video is 16 min long for packing TWO pieces of luggage. Sad. She used to be able to go on for at least half and hour on her purse/carryon.

Packing a duffel now. Birkenstock. No dress shoes.

This duffel bag is pretty ugly. Top notch quality as far as technical gear goes, but it's over the top for her. If I have to look at lifestyle stuff, I prefer it be cuter.

About the yoga mat. Right on top of her hat. Don't you put your naked feet on that? Sigh.

Small cooler, big cooler. I don't care. Her overconsumption used to be somewhat funny and cathartic. Lots of Target and Lululemon stuff. Now it's overpriced technical stuff. I don't like looking at it. It's boring and depressingly unnecessary for the type of adventures she goes on.

She took a two hour bath. How is she not a raisin at the end of that?!

ETA she says the next morning she also took a "bath shower" and had a morning bath. Wth?

I wonder if she is again overcompensating our snark on her personal hygiene by l=making up something and not realizing how stupid she sounds?

She does it all the time, and it never makes any sense.

Poor Winnie. Jen is gonna get tired of her wheelchair and extra needs fast.

It will be "Winnie prefers to drag herself on the floor without the wheelchair, folks!"

Just like she's so afraid of weather she needs to be locked in a brightly lit closet all night.

Jen is such a heartless abusive sadist, she doesn't realize how horrible this makes her look and puts it all out there.

Or she truly is a psychopath and revels in knowing she can put it all out there and nobody does a damn thing about it.

    QUOTE (Buff Emiky @ 22/8/2022, 17:44)
I really don’t think Jen saw herself in this position after the divorce. Don would mention thinking Jen was out of his league and I think Jen agreed…. because she was more physically attractive than him back in the day. I truly think she thought she’d have no trouble meeting someone else. Then Don was the one who found happiness before her… with someone who appears to be everything Jen is not. I think that Jen was truly shocked and never saw that coming. Seeing someone appear to replace Jen pretty seamlessly and do everything better has to be rough for her.

Now she’s trying to make herself interesting in other ways. She’s an outdoorsy camper girl now. Something I never would’ve predicted from the girl with a walking pharmacy who carried everything one might ever need for simple errand trips.

Also, from Tens’ perspective. The fact that this message board even exists has to feel so weird. I do wonder if she followed Jen back in the day and saw Don on a dating app and swiped for fun and then actually liked the guy.

That's what makes Jen's downfall so entertaining as a character in her Youtube channel. She was super smug, about her place in the Ross family, about her life as a divorcee, and then, just sat there and waited for it to sort itself out, and was shoked when it didn't happen.

Yes, she's still filthy rich. But it's kinda fascinating to watch as hard she fell when she had all the tools not to. Even her 800 K house is amongst the worst choices she could have made for herself, which is endlessly funny.

The best part of Tens'post was the emojis covering the people who didn't want to be online, including the children.

She can still include and respect boundaries while creating memories unlike Jenny.

The worst thing Jen ever did was invite the world into every detail of her family life, allowing thousands of people to watch and comment. I never understand why people on Youtube or social media do this without realising the life-changing consequences. If you're going to make content for public viewing online, choose a subject and stick with that, don't make your actual life the content. Unless you and your family have very thick skin and literally don't care at all what others think of you, your sharing will be both addictive and ruining your life at the same time. I see 'influencer' women on IG oversharing all the time and you can see their husband in the background absolutely sick to the back teeth of being filmed for the 26th time that day. Meanwhile their kids are doing things for camera-attention and showing off when mommy pulls her phone out because they want to read the comments afterwards (what a fantastic way to raise your children... they learn that attention and fame are the only things worth having). The whole thing is a toxic ticking time bomb, and Jen should be a warning to anyone considering vlogging or public social media.

To be fair, back when she started, Youtube (and social media) was quite different, and was not a legitimate way to make money. A lot of the Youtubers back then didn't get the views or fans of today.

That being said, there was alerady the mommy bloggers, and it was already known that it was not a good idea to put your children/life out there for public consumption.

And I totally agree that making your life the subject of your content and your income is the fastest way to isolate yourself or turn every relationship into a business transaction - families and friends become either part of the cast or special feature guests, not actually organic friendships.

I already think private Facebook/mom groups where people post pictures of their kids to strangers is weird and invasive, but to do that like the family vloggers do is plain exploitation, and these kids will have to live with it for a long time - even if their parents aren't famous anymore, the stuff is still out there.

Sorry to go back to the 4Runner maiden voyage, but as she is preparing the wraps, she just opens her hummus, and tosses her lid straight onto to counter, "inside" right on the surface, instead of putting the outside part on the counter to protect the side that could be in contact with the food once you close the container back.

Seeing her cooking is always so unappealing. She really has little concern for hygiene. Not surprising she doesn't think twice about mold in her home.

Also, little miss I'ss by all the eco products is over there using wax paper inside her beeswax wrap, putting packages of turkey slices and faux cheese inside ziploc bags. To put in her new cooler, that will go in her second gas guzzler.

On top of mistreating her dog.

I'm pretty sure sleeping with the lights on is considered a form of cruel and unusual punishment.

But she didn't 10 years ago. Jen already said she was missing hair at that time.

Sorry, but No. Not with Jen's huge nose and mouth. That haircut is for someone with small features.

That person has fine hair but it's dense enough to have volume. Jen's 2 hairs would be glued to her head. That hair swoop of hers is so awful. Has she never seen people? Even back when she was into getting dressed and wearing makeup, why did she never watch hair videos?

She only watched Tiffany D and Ingrid (and Elle Fowler). None of them have thinning hair, yet she ised the same products.

    QUOTE (Aloner Like Jen @ 31/7/2022, 19:34)
It’s sad how that Jen’s world has gone from just‘socially anxious’ to going days without speaking to another human. She hasn’t a friend in the world. All of her associates prior were through Don. And her ex in-laws, who she considered her friends and swore she would be close with them forever, noped right out of her life at the first opportunity. And who can blame them after she insinuated that Don abused her? She just has two parents and a brother who lives out of state. That has to suck. She says she’s a hermit who loves to be alone, but if that was really true, she wouldn’t have made past videos about not having friends, and how she so wanted a girl tribe. I’ll never believe that she wants to be as alone as she really is. She went from happy and perky with a semi decent social life situation with Don and his family to totally alone, gloomy and grey.

You’re not fooling anyone, Jen. You are leaning into your miserableness because it’s your only option, so you are trying to make it work. If you would start making less selfish choices, you might find a little happiness in your life. Don is not coming back, and Tens will be an amazing mom to your kids while you train then to hate you when they are older. Fast forward 15 years, Your parents are very old. Your kids are grown and rarely call or visit. Your brother has a life of his own with his wife and grown kids. Will you truly be happy puttering around in your grey mausoleum with Winnie 3.0 as your only companion? Deep down, you know you won’t be.

Maybe she'll then give Paula a call, if she's still around.

    QUOTE (Bangle Bitch @ 26/7/2022, 22:21)
She led a very isolated lonely life. I highly doubt she had tons of friends etc in college. Other than her roommate I bet she knew no one.

Well she did have an accointance she thought was a friend, sent a care package to, and never got a response.

She shaded her in a video, and said woman responded in a comment, saying she hadn't thought their brief and friendly interactions counted as friendship, had been surprised and embarrassed at receiving the care package and never responded because she became sick and didn't have money to spare to send back a care package to someone she didn't know, and then I guess she forgot, being busy living her life and not reminiscing about accointances from college.

    Edited for the typos

What the actual hell is that thumbnail? She's not even hiding the bear. No of course not she showed it in her unpacking in NYC.

These kids will have stuffies packed for them as long as Jen will have custody.

ngl, I kinda think the legless bear is cute. If I was in a store with a friend or my husband, I'd point it out. Maybe get it for a kid if there was a birthday close.

But to buy it (for herself) and apparently sleep with it???

Most information in a quick search on the Goog says petite sizing is either 5'3 or 5'4 and below. I would never consider the average height for a woman to be petite. Jen doesn't have shorter proportions, as evidenced by her awful too short petite dresses, so she shouldn't need those sizes at all.

Except major clothing retailers sell petites for 5'2" and under. Google may say differently but back in the day when Petite Sophisticate was a popular chain for women's clothing, I shopped there but could only buy tops and dresses. I'm 5'3" and the pants were always 1/2" to 1" too short.

I am 5'. Petite pants and dresses fit me properly, with only a bit of adjusting. It's not about being thin - it's about being short. XS petite and XS regular are the same width. It's just that it's shorter on the petite sizing.

Someone like Jen, who is 5'4 or so, would be better off getting regular clothes and have them tailored when needed. Or hell, doing it herself with the fancy sewing machine she apparently kept all those years. I think she gets her size with her waist measurement, and not the chest, but for dresses, unless your chest is smaller than your waist, you're supposed to pick your size according to your chest and have the waist taken in to fit. That's why she always look kinda squashed in there.

I've always thought that Jen's issue with CC's pregnancy was that she was having a girl and not the coveted heir.

100% that. She even herself gave proof here at 7:50 or so.

    QUOTE (NoLongerAvailable @ 26/6/2022, 15:09)
“I’ve never felt so celebrated in my life!”

What kind of childhood did she have??

She misses all of the events and dinners and involvement of Don’s family. She totally is jealous that they are now doing that with someone else. I think she cared about Don at one point, but maybe she also was extremely married to his family and that’s what she also misses and can’t get over.

Well, they were her whole social circle, from what we know. IMO, it was bound to be a harsh realization for Jen, that while THEY were the only people she interacted with on a daily basis, the reverse wasn't true, and when she divorced their son, they didn't maintain as close a relationship without Don as the link between them, because they had other people to turn to/add to their cult.
