If any bakers are wondering what video I’m referring to it’s on the rewatch titled “Birthdays All Around” Jen doesn’t show Rachels face but you hear her voice, Jen’s opening up her presents from Rachel, and shows you what they’re having for lunch.
I remember that video. I always figured it was a new friend from the planner community. But just like StarofMay, Jen doesn't know how to maintain friendships because she is so self focused. So much of being a good friend is being selfless and thoughtful towards the other person. -

HMMM. I haven't worked in Run Specialty in a minute, it looks like Altra is trying to cash in on the Hoka popularity. I wonder what the Heel/toe drop is because that's the real key. Regardless, they look terrible and and like an injury waiting to happen if its still 0MM on top of 33MM of foam. No thank you. This is not a shoe I would recommend to someone injury prone....*cough* Jen. -

Yeah, Jen. Maybe quit with the "My doc and therapist said no surgery until I'm 50" crap that we all know is you spewing bullshit. Bite the damn bullet and get the surgery while you're still relatively young, despite your face, so you can do this running shit into the sunset.

I have fit hundreds of people for running shoes and I have seen maybe 10 who genuinely oversupinate. If she IS doing it then it's self imposed from the bunyon, especially because she spent a lot of years in stability Asics and she would have been miserable if that was her natural gait. Always trying the hardest to be the most unique. -

Break up weight loss and Ozempic. That's my belief and she will never be able to convince me otherwise.
And you can ALWAYS tell when a couple has broken up because the man gets active on social media seemingly out of nowhere. I can't tell you how many times I have seen it happen with people that I know. -
.Good grief. For years she's been telling us how she loves her body. As for going at her own pace, her pace for anything (other than her self care bs) is that of a snail. Not resting? She has plenty of time to rest. I don't know many "single moms" who take hour long baths in the middle of the day, meditate for an hour and workout for 2-3 hours per day. She has plenty of time to rest. Every single video she tells us how proud of herself she is. She is so unaware of reality.
Maybe she needs to go back to the practice shorts to learn how to love her body again. -

This is the polar opposite of 2013 when she asked if she should create separate platforms for everything in addition to MHWL and OLJ and we all said no and instead we ended up with The Busy Bee Buzz, Perfectly Polished, Winnie the Tzu and then her blog that recapped everything she did on every single one. My how the turn tables. -
.how can you say them walking and talking serves no purpose? that cannot be true. this disease is new so how could you possibly know that. I bet people said similar things about DS babies etc at first too.
Just look it up, watch YouTube videos of the families showing the daily care of their kids with this disorder. Maybe 1% have the ability to “jump on trampolines” but they are still profoundly mentally and physically disabled. STXBP1 is very serious and always results in the kids being dependent on caregivers for life.
I am unwilling to judge a mother for staying positive and hopeful for her child. It was a great video and I love how she is embracing what they have been dealt instead of seeking pity (which I wouldn't have judged her for either). NO ONE has any idea how Lucy will grow into this, she is just a little baby. I'm not sure what's going on in your heart that makes you so angry about LA trying to jump into this with two feet and stay hopeful but I hope you figure it out. -

She also has zero taste or knowledge of a solid real estate investment so of course she bought a flip house that was neutral and gray and had an expansive layout because that's what IG told her is the height of financial achievement. And in addition to Don's money (which I can be jealous about all day but legally she deserved it) she has her family inheritance from her grandparents, she could have afford a lot more. -

And when he would show how to make his cocktails and would would be straight alcohol with a splash of something? I always noticed his drinking habits at home and they made me cringe. I unconsciously check in on my own drinking a lot because there are a lot of alcoholics in my family so she could be doing the same thing?
If I were married to Jen, I'd be drinking lots of Tito's with cran too

Wow, I had no idea that her living room was still empty. In Ross abode 1.0 she had TWO! living rooms upstairs, both furnished and then some.
Of all the ways she has changed since she had kids, and especially since the divorce, her desire to make her house a home being gone is the one that makes me the saddest. It's like she refuses to address her feelings, put down roots and develop a new life and instead spends it running away on travel that she doesn't seem to enjoy (if she did I would totally give her props for it). I think her One Little Word for 2023 should be "Unsettled". -
.DivorcewithWonder I’m a trail runner and her pace is definitely slow. That’s why I get irrationally irritated when she describes herself as a runner because she’s not. The old ladies power walking the malls in the morning have a faster pace than her. Gene is a wannabe runner, that’s all she’ll ever be no matter how many cheap Disney medals she collects or how many vanity races she “runs.”
Jen is a nutcase but she IS a runner. If you run, you're a runner. Pace doesn't matter. I also give her (a tiny amount of) credit, she doesn't even like running and her training is questionable at best but she keeps at it and has for years. -

This video is officially the most boring one ever. She just babbles away about absolutely nothing. This video could have been 10 minutes if she didn't ramble on and on.
The only time I have done virtual races was in 2020 when everything was cancelled. One of the races, I had signed up for the previous year before covid was a thing. Everything was cancelled but I was still training (remember when it was supposed to only last a few weeks?!) for an event that I thought was still going to happen. Come fall, I was signing up for all of the virtual races that were run by our local company which was doing everything they could to keep our community going and also managed to not lay off any employees during a year that they were unable to host any events. Anyway, I am rambling...my original point was going to be that at the end of that year I did some virtual races, one of them I was proud of because it was the original one I trained hard for, the rest were for fun and I did several of them with one of my very close friends. I don't do any of them virtually now since there are in-person options. However...

I have seen other posts asking why she doesn't join a local running club but I don't think she'd ever fit in with those. Not because of the run/walk (lots of people do that). But she would never find common ground with anyone. Imagine her talking to a fellow mother that runs, probably works, and also takes care of her children. Jen doesn't do any of that. Imagine her awkwardly trying to talk with them men. Imagine her trying to find common ground with women that don't have children yet but who work and pay their own bills. She'd be getting side eyes from everyone. Not because she's privileged but because her choices are so strange.
In her area Jen could absolutely find a running group full of rich SAHM's with nannies so honestly, she would fit right in.
