Did anyone else find it super cringe-y when there was off-key singing while they were waiting to do yoga in front of the Magic Castle? 😂😂🤭🙈 I literally have 2nd hand embarrassment every time I try to watch that shit.

Hair done, Zelda shirt, comfortable demeanor... and then in front of Jen's fireplace.

Yeah, we can tell where home is.

Her hair is done in both pics.

Menopause is a totally natural part of the cycle of life, so why is there a culture (in America mostly as I see) of needing hormone treatment during this period?
Honestly curious not writing this with any implicit view.

There are a lot of natural things in life that can be extremely unpleasant and down right dangerous. Labor and delivery comes to mind.
There is a stigma around treating peri and menopause, because women have been gaslighted since the dawn of time , to grin and bear it. Complaining is not allowed, pain and suffering needs to be ignored.
Based on this sordid reality, clinical research into peri and meno is extremely sparse and of poor quality because no one took time to do it, and because men dominated the medical field for centuries. We researched enlarged prostates to death, tho! They are also a natural part of male aging.
Things are changing lately, but slowly.

There is zero shame in asking for help and getting help. Not every woman needs help, but those who do should not be labelled as over reacting or whining over a "natural thing". Same rant for mental health.

Never thought of it this way, interesting perspective and seems to have a lot of truth behind it!

I'm 40 and I realised I'm in Peri' holy shit it's a nightmare. I'm going to talk to the doctor about it when I go in again. I just got a heap of vitamins yesterday. But sincerely - if you did anything that would be really useful advise to someone who was never told about it, please share.

I just turned 40 too, and so far I have experienced none of this. I’d kind of like to get the show on the road, every month with this nonsense is just too much 😂 but it also makes me nervous because medically, hormone treatment is contraindicated for me, so I’ll pretty much be on my own when the time comes.

Something random that was the first thing I thought about when I watched the spoon part of her video. She says the woman in the couple that stopped told her that they had only 2 spoons, but that they had been sharing anyway and blablabla.. and ended up giving it to her in the end.

When I am in these types of situations, in the place of the woman who gave the spoon ie. doing a favor to someone else, I avoid telling them anything like that "we only have 2, but..". I would have white lied and said, "oh we have so many to spare, here you go"..
Because I think of the other person.

I just wonder, why? Why tell all of that to someone, which is just going to make them feel worse for asking?
Like just give the damn spoon and don't seem like you're thinking about it so much.

I know we are all different but just something I picked up on.

It also seems really strange that they've been supposedly taking turns with the same spoon all along, when they had two?

Hahahhahaa!! Yes!! That was so strange like maybe they were serial killers 😜

I don’t know how Jen could ever survive an actual emergency. The fact that she sat on a stoop and waited for a passerby and begged for a spoon instead of making do is just pathetic. And the fact she was going to eat off of a sharp knife?! Of all things?! What an idiot! As others have said, just tilt the pouch into your mouth, or use something else. Hell, pop out a sunglasses lens and use it as a little scoop and then pop it back in lol. I’m sure there were a handful of options other than sitting around waiting to beg for help.

    I agree.

There’s a video or a Insta-story or something where she makes some kind of passive-aggressive remark about having to use the living room for the play room since Don’s things were in the basement.

And I think that’s why she sold the bar - in a passive-aggressive punitive move against Don - “Well, then we’ll just have to sell the bar since we can’t have it in the kids’ play space.”

I loved that bar. I think your'e right...it seemed kind of weird that she just up and sold it. But she did sell that really nice makeup extravaganza she had in "her" bedroom....that she had her handyman professionally paint to match the other furniture. I bet Don still misses that bar.

I can't believe people have these kind of mega mansion houses and they're still fighting for space and things. Maybe I've seen too many refugees and other poor people but it just seems idiotic to me. Unbelievable.

    Jif of Skippy?

My PB of choice is a very exclusive, bespoke regional brand.

For conventional peanut butter - Skippy.

How can peanut butter be bespoke ie. custom made?

This is sort of random and not Jen related so deleted if not allowed! So; all the boob vs no-boob dress talk got me thinking about plastic surgery! Can I ask your opinion on something...

Between 2017-2018 I lost about 80-90 pounds. Cool thing is my hubby was deployed while I lost it, and where he was located was so isolated there was no internet so no FaceTime! So when he left I was 223 pounds and when he got home I was 135-140 pounds! Anyway; I carried most of my weight in my midsection and with the drop in weight plus 4 pregnancy my stomach skin is major. I would love to have it removed but just feel so guilty spending that kind of money on myself!!! I new here but thought I could count on all of you to give me your unbiased opinions!!! Thanks in advance!

Just wanted to add something I haven't seen anyone else mention:
You can die from these types of surgeries (I have a friend who lost her mom like that) so it is a huge thing to consider in my opinion. I'm very much tempted to but I just can't justify risking leaving my kids motherless over something "cosmetic"🤷😔 so I just don't look at, listen or think about these kinds of things. And I give my body time. Before considering such a surgery, with all its risks, what about trying to tighten up with exercise? Or research less risky methods like maybe massage/alternative therapies etc. Also you just lost a major amount of weight, it will take a bit of time for your body to adjust, skin included.

For me finances would be the lowest of the priorities in this case. İt's not about the money, it's about the risk.
