So she spent a crap ton of money on things like shirts and pins that never even got taken off their cardboard holders (!!), stuffed in a bin in the basement, and forgotten about - in spite of the fact that (a) she had to move it to the new house and (b) in all of her waxing nostalgic about those early races, she never once remembered that she had it.
You couldn’t make this stuff up. |

It's a beautiful tribute, but I just can't get over Jen giving it a like. She hates people and I don't think she can identify with the message. I don't even think she wants something like that in her life. |

I think it is because conventional wisdom used to say that running was the biggest calorie burner, and she’s 100% in it for weight management. Dressing it up with Disney fanfare is just the icing on the cake. |

| | She says she’s being ‘super cautious’ in response to the blood clot comments - and yet here she is, the same week she’s been sick with covid, running a marathon - one of the most punishing things you can do to your body - after running races the 3 days prior, too. That’s the exact opposite of being cautious. If she develops a clot or any other long covid symptom then I think it will be a direct result of her own actions. |

I was thinking more along the lines of, she needed to go get it cut every month or two. Which meant calling the salon to book the appointment and then, heaven forbid, having to go in and interact with real live people. I think doing that half a dozen times per year was too much for her. |
