Unfortunately none of us can control everything that happens to us in life, we don't always get to decide in advance.

I agree. I had similar pull out shelves put in when I had my kitchen redone about 14 years ago, but it would have been interesting to see how you could fit them in to a standard cupboard, but we learned nothing about that. Also it was just fitting them in on the existing shelves. There still seems to be a lot of wasted space in that “pantry”. |

| I love Venice too, went over 20 years ago, in early May, it wasn't too busy, and good weather, but I heard that pre Covid it is much more busy now, and with so many cruise ships visiting. I stayed a few days and would go back. Just nice to wander round the little streets, over bridges, and into hidden courtyards with amazing buildings. The history of it is amazing too. Generally there are no cars, only the canals with boats and gondolas. I would go back to walk round and see the architecture, travel on one of the larger ferries, or canal boats, and visit the art galleries, and some of the islands. I don't remember any smell, may be worse in the summer?
