Maybe I’m biased, but my mom stopped working when my parents got married. To get divorced and suddenly expect her to be able to support herself after years of not working isn’t fair as far as I’m concerned. It basically makes it seem that stay at home moms are freeloaders, which isn’t fair.
LIke…he supports you for 10 years (or close to 20). But then once you get divorced you should have to live on whatever salary you can get after not working for 10 years? Which is most likely a minimum wage job, or maybe depending on where you live, probably around $15/hour. Getting married is supposed to be a life-long partnership, which is what I think most people are signing onto when they get married.
Sadly life is not fair. I have zero sympathy for Jen, she chose to waste all those married years shopping. She never invested any of her allowance money. She only has herself to blame for her actions (or lack thereof). Own up to your mistakes & grow the hell up 🤷♀️ In the wise words of Britney Spears, "NOW GET TO WORK BITCH!" 😉 |

I laughed and told him I didn’t order one and was teasing him. He then offered to split it with me. Yep, he’s a keeper!
