| | I think she's complained before about how it creates so much laundry, because she insists on using a table cloth and cloth place mats every single time, and it gets dirty. The table she has now is decent (RIP the flooring table) but it'd be soooo much easier to wipe a wood table clean after each meal. She makes it more complicated than it needs to be. |

Yes she doesn't seem to understand that just because the colors may all "match" does NOT mean the design works AT ALL. Not only is there 5 or 6 design styles competing, there's a least 3 or 4 decades also. I personally like MCM, but it just doesn't work in this space (I also really dislike the color scheme of the paper, but admit if she picked something else, it wouldn't match in even more ways.)
I will die of shock if they ever actually build an extension and renovate that kitchen. For one thing, they are both in their 50s now, and at least half way through their mortgage. Why on earth add on even more debt to pay off at their age. They say they want to die in that house, but they probably dint want to also work until the die to pay for it. And it makes no sense anyway with both kids out if the house in the next 5 years or less. |

This is exactly what I've been thinking. Remove the peninsula if she wants a dine in space. She might be able to turn the peninsula cabinet and put it at the end of the current row of cabinets, not sure about the measurements. But yes, it would require a professional to cut to counter, and she doesn't seem willing to ever hire anyone (remember the electrical problem from when they did that backsplash).the flooring may actually be under that cabinet anyway, but even if not, she has told us many times how she HATES the floors in there, and that could be a DIY project she could do. |

You'd think, if she had been being honest for the last decade she saw Judith, this would have been a non-issue, unless Judith was finally hearing from Don too in a couples counseling, and was telling Jen things she didn't want to hear regarding how Jen had some responsibility and needed to make changes too. I have no doubt she was not fully honest with Judith all along, but if Don joined in it would have shattered her ability to misrepresent things. |

This philosophy does not apply to her own family though, Thanksgiving dinner was just SO expensive and not worth it, and treating her family of origin to a cruise is out of the question.

| | If Don is finally in rehab (I hope he is), it's only because he knows what he has now, with Tens, and doesn't want to lose it. I still believe a lot of what's been said here in the past few years is true. That Tens is night and day different than Jen, her outgoing personality, her actual real life friendships, her relationship with her ex-husband, her garden and homemaking, her mothering... etc and Don has been living so much happier with her. He may have royally screwed up, and faced with losing his new life, hopefully he is willing to do whatever it takes. |

| About the Google search results, if the senior Ross clan is aware, they may have got a company to (finally) do a sweep and clean up of the search results. There are ways to do it, and they may be wanting to keep this on the downlow.
