I feel like it's a natural progression for the fauxsteader to transition from growing food to growing flowers when they get bored.
Also, I was shocked to see her planting in her flower beds. She doesn't seem to get joy from real gardening in the landscape so I was surprised. Although if I planted pansies out in the open like that they would fry on a hot day. Maybe thats why they were on clearance. -

The happy frog soil is $32 a bag at my local nursery. I bought one bag because that's all I could afford and this bitch basically has a palette of it.
She bought bareroot strawberries, because she didn't have three huge beds full of strawberries she could have transplanted if she wasn''t so fucking lazy.
She's overwhelmed by everything, everything she has done to herself! Every problem she has is one she manufactured and chronicled for the world to see.
What the ever living fuck does anyone need with ten packs of shelling beans? That's the biggest and stupidest waste of garden space (which is no doubt why she's planting them) What person says "I'm just going to get ten packs" Who needs 250 bean plants so they can turn around and harvest enough dry beans to fill a quart jar?
And she already had the beans she saved! What the fuck!
I don't get jealous of people on youtube because most of the time I can see how hard they've worked to become successful at youtube and successful enough to have extra money to spend. The thing that kills me is that she hasn't worked hard, she doesn't know what the hell she's going and SHE DOESN'T DESERVE ANY OF IT.

I still don't understand home growing your tomatoes, making sauce out of them, canning them, cooking them into another dish, freezing that dish and then cooking it again. There can't be much nutritional value left at that point. -

OMG she just posted a house update.
They are buying a new build home which she says is "much smaller". Then she says they are buying another new build which won't be ready until August. They will rent the "much smaller" house out when they move into the third house in August.
They are doing updates to the old house and then selling it in order to buy the house in August. -

I believe the homesteading/gardening channels are in decline much like the makeup community is now. Makeup channels were huge before the pandemic and now a lot of the big names have quit or slowed down on content. There are only so many times you can watch someone apply makeup or only so many eye shadow palettes one person can own. It's the same with the homesteaders. -

I have done zero research on the subject but I can't imagine boiling your compost is a good idea unless you have an obvious pest problem in the soil. Compost has living microbes for plant health. -
