| I met Mr. Popcorn when we both worked at the front gate at a San Francisco Bay area amusement park. After the 2nd season, I got pregnant. We knew we loved each other and our parents were supportive of us until he finished his degree. He was hired by a huge firm right out of college and by that time Baby Girl Popcorn was 2 years old. We will be married 40 years in November. We tell people that we are just too lazy to divorce.

| The thing is, in the right hands, Winnie could still have quality of life. But Jen probably does not feel that she can be bothered with that. We are nursing along a 15 year old Terrier mix who is partially paralyzed in his back end. Our vet feels that as long as he doesnt give up and is normal in other ways, that he can have a good Iife for a while. . He can barely walk at times, is incontinent, but still has the fire in his eyes. (His name is Winston btw...Winnie) he wears a diaper,but he still goes out sans diaper to sit in the sun and watch the birds and smell the wind. He barks at people and dogs walking by, he eats and drinks with gusto, and he is treated gently, with the love that we feel for him. He doesn't have long, and and we are ready to take that step when the time comes. It will NOT be for convenience or to satisfy some revenge fantasy.
I have to admit. If Jen does put Winnie down close to Mother's day, she may hear from me. Even though it won't make a difference, I have a few select words for her if she stoops that low. |

| | To everyone who commented on my post about the sweet potato, it was more to illustrate how idiotic she is. Believe me, I have been here long enough to know what a fool she is. Makes you wonder how she can make it out of the house by herself. |
