I'm sorry you had a different experience. I wonder if it depends on location and culture. Where I live now (the south) I could see your experience happening, especially 20 years ago.

My husband’s family is from Southern Italy and I can say I have never met more relaxed and calm people in my life. She needs to realize she is the problem and not everyone else.
I agree and I'm black lol. (You shouldn't get offended by MY experiences while traveling). Anyways it's always kind of a toss up, and while we had a few issues in Rome, we stayed in southern Italy and the people in the town were sooooo so so kind and just chill. Sure we didn't stop for long chats but we all smiled and got along great. |
