Blocking the window is absolutely nuts! And bitching about her deck. Why? It's a nice thing to have and surely in summer they eat out there on the sunny(or shady part) regularly. Many people these days don't have a dedicated dining room either so I'm not sure why a full table and chairs in a room adjacent to the kitchen is suddenly not acceptable. Desperate for content perhaps?

I think he's a controlling arse as well. That's why his 'jokey' violent commentary people find sooo funny rubs me up the wrong way. Nice men don't do that.

She says they don't use the existing 2 stools bar area to eat. Why? I don't believe her. People never perch there to eat a quick breakfast or lunch? Or chat to the cook? Come on. She was happy enough to say she used it as an office spot for all her junk at one point but now "oh its never ever used". There is no way to fit a table easily in there. Storage maybe but isn't she decluttering? She's never happy. It's a decent sized kitchen and pantry but not ok for a continual horder. Poor dog getting shuffled around.

One of those who profited from the Covid years I'm guessing. Maybe her channel took off as well? I've not looked at her numbers or if she's sponsored now. I rarely watch anymore as she's so dull and her decor sucks.

It's all hilariously impractical. That nook would've been better left as is with a bassinette/crib for the short while the baby needs it for those early months. She is going to need storage put back in, a changing area, blackout curtains and the the baby is going to outgrow it all by 6 months once in a full size cot/crib. I had an early crawler/walker/climber and it was nuts how much she could get into so soon! The sort of kid who climbs over the other babies still lying on the floor to grab their rattles. The ladder with puddled lights had me howling!

I was on Metformin a while back and doing low carb. I dropped a lot of weight pretty fast.

I blame the Bakery talking about kettles for my jug cord dying yesterday. Had to buy a new one and stared at the Breville tea maker for far too long in a store. Ended up with a $35 glass one for a change. It's got a light in the bottom which was unexpected so we're calling it the disco kettle. I used the back up whistling kettle I have yesterday on the hob and it's too slow/too noisy. Thanks for coming to my kettle Ted Talk.

He really looks like he's got freedom and is having a wonderful life. I can't see him ever coming back and living the family again. He's going places.

RIP your hair. But you do you boo. It breaks the hair and just creates an 80s frizz. Not a look that's current.

I was dragged along to a design class once and did a vision board for my bedroom. It was useful to nail down a style I suppose but even that felt like self indulgent busywork. I just can't get on board with all this endless self reflection and scrapbook nonsense. Especially when in this case we never see any growth or change. She's just sticking down crap she purchased in a pack. It's not even original or creative. At least at the thing I went to we had magazines to find images and it was creative. No stupid meaningless words either.

The last thing you do with curly hair is run a brush through it, it makes it even frizzier and foofy.

I drink ordinary black tea 95% of the time and have a very standard electric cordless jug. I occasionally have an herbal tea or green tea or an instant coffee. Boiling water at a rolling boil is what I need. Microwave water isn't right and I also do not like tea made with those boiling water taps - it's not quite hot enough. If I make a pot of tea the teapot needs to be warmed (pour some hot water in then tip it out prior to making the tea). My Yorkshire born grandmother could make nuclear heat tea somehow and that stays with you lol.

My large bowls are used for mixing, salads, fridge storage, fruit etc - all sorts really. I rarely bake these days.

I was shopping with my mum last week and she was going to buy a new loaf tin. I drove her to my house and gave her a choice of 3 to have. It's nuts to have stuff I use once a year if that. We are both atvthe stage where we are sharing or giving kitchen stuff to younger family starting out.
